Bay Area Scent Collective (BASC) is a curated fragrance community built for perfume lovers across the Bay Area. We bring together scent enthusiasts for exclusive in-person experiences, from perfume making classes and brand collaborations to scent swaps and intimate gatherings.
Membership is always free. Experiences are always unforgettable.

Our mission: build a local fragrance community that connects online conversation with real-life experiences.
In BASC, we:
Meet up monthly for structured, elevated fragrance centered events with local olfactory enthusiasts (hey frag fam!)
Discover and support Bay Area fragrance spaces (boutiques, pop-ups, events)
Learn about scent (notes, performance, layering, seasons, occasions, etc.)
Share honest reviews (no pressure, no snobbery)
WHO THIS GROUP IS FOR
BASC is for you IF you:
Love smelling good and want to learn more
Want fragrance friends to talk to beyond “this smells good”
Like trying new scents and sharing opinions
Want to attend local meetups when you can
Enjoy respectful discussion (not drama)
This group is also inclusive of ALL GENDERS because scent is for everybody!
WHAT TO EXPECT
We host a signature meetup each month, along with special collaboration events throughout the year. Every experience is intentionally structured, so it’s never awkward, and connections happen naturally.
Our signature meetup format includes:
Warm welcome + guided intro
Scent Circle: a shared discovery experience where we explore and discuss fragrances together
Spotlight Feature: a curated focus on a fragrance house/brand, perfume, or category (this may include a theme, guest, or special showcase)
Declutter or Swap Station: bring gently used fragrances to sell or swap (optional)
Social time to connect, take photos, and vibe with fellow fragrance lovers
Select events may also include:
Boutique partnerships and curated scent tours
Hands-on workshops and perfume-making classes
Guest speakers
Giveaways, raffles, and exclusive attendee perks
Monthly Meetups
